At 8:51 a.m. a caller reported someone has run a van into a building on the 39000 block of Elbow Lake Road in Waubun.

At 1 p.m. several trucks and buildings at Herzog Roofing were rifled through and several tools were reportedly stolen.

At 9:02 p.m. a caller reported someone had frozen damp newspapers to a car windshield on the corner of Martin Street and Fourth Street in Audubon.

Wednesday, Jan. 3

At 11:57 a.m. emergency crews responded to a chimney fire on the 35000 block of 250th Avenue in Ogema.

At 4:33 p.m. a gaming station was reportedly stolen from the 200 block of Barbara Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

Thursday, Jan. 4

At 12:25 a.m. cash and a credit card were reportedly stolen from a motor vehicle parked on the 400 block of North Shore Drive.

At 1 a.m. a caller reported a vehicle had been rummaged through while it was parked on the 400 block of North Shore Drive.

At 6:24 a.m. emergency crews responded to a car fire on the 500 block of Lark Street in Audubon.

At 7:05 a.m. a caller reported a snowmobile had been stolen from the 200 block of Union Street in Detroit Lakes; the vehicle was later recovered.

At 7:17 a.m. a computer bag and sunglasses were reportedly stolen from an unlocked car parked on the 1400 block of Long Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

At 7:39 a.m. an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1400 0 block of Long Avenue in Detroit Lakes was rummaged through; a bowling ball was reportedly taken in the incident.

At 7:57 a.m. jewelry and a handgun were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of Park Lake Boulevard; the handgun was later recovered.

At 8:07 a.m. change was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1400 block of Long Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

At 8:58 a.m. a caller reported an unlocked garage on the 400 block of North Shore Drive was entered and the vehicle within was rummaged through.

At 10:43 a.m. a burglary was reported on the 300 block of Park Lake Boulevard in Detroit Lakes.

At 10:57 a.m. a caller reported having vehicle wires tampered with while the car was parked on the 100 block of Rivercrest Drive in Frazee. The caller stated the turn signal and brake light wires had either been cut or pulled apart.

At 1:11 p.m. a fence was reportedly damaged by a vehicle on the 600 block of South Shore Drive.

Friday, Jan. 5

At 3:31 p.m. tools were reportedly stolen from a garage on the 500 block of Front Street in Lake Park.

Saturday, Jan. 6

At 8:03 a.m. a vehicle was reportedly keyed while parked on the 1000 block of Summit Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

At 12:19 p.m. a wallet was reportedly stolen from the 700 block of Bowling Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

Sunday, Jan. 7

At 11:47 a.m. 15 cords of wood valued at $3,000 were reportedly stolen from the 24000 block of Highway 6 in Detroit Lakes.

At 12:13 p.m. a window on the 300 block of Main Street in Detroit Lakes was reportedly damaged.

At 1:40 p.m. checks and credit cards were reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Davis Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

At 2:08 p.m. a vent window was reportedly broken on the 200 block of Willow Street in Detroit Lakes.

Monday, Jan. 8

At 11:28 a.m. a caller reported an unauthorized purchase on a medical card on the 1300 block of East Shore Drive.

At 12:41 p.m. a caller reported the theft of a money order on the 40000 block of Highway 34 in Ogema.

At 3:48 p.m. two lawn mowers were reportedly stolen from the 18000 block of Highway 25 in Detroit Lakes. The caller believed the theft had occurred sometimes in the last year and a half.

At 4 p.m. miscellaneous items were reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked on the 700 block of Pembina Trail in Detroit Lakes.

At 5:28 p.m. a caller reported a brush fire on the 30000 block of Acorn Lake Road in Frazee.

At 5:59 p.m. a license plate was reportedly stolen from a motor vehicle parked on the 200 block of West Lake Drive.

At 7:04 p.m. emergency crews responded to a house fire on the 36000 block of Lynx Lane in Ogema, where flames had started in the basement.

Wednesday, Jan. 10

At 2:13 p.m. a caller reported a pair of headphones had been stolen from the 100 block of Lake Street in Frazee.

Thursday, Jan. 11

At 4:43 p.m. a theft was reported at the Rice Lake Community Center in Bagley.
