Conditions met, charge dropped for stealing Percocet
Danielle Rae Thelen, 20, of Sargeant, Minn., has had a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance crime dismissed in Becker County District Court.
According to court records, on June 8, 2016, deputies were called to a rural becker County residence. A woman there reported that Thelen had been stealing her prescription pain medications. She said she had just filled a prescription for 250 Percocet pills a week earlier, and 128 of the pills were now missing. Thelen admitted to taking about 20 of the pills and selling them to a friend.
She was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, fined $1,000, ordered to pay $1,160 in court fees and placed on supervised probation. She has met all the conditions set by the court and the charge has now been dismissed.
